The M1 will be closing in both directions from 22:00 hours, Friday 11th May and will remain closed until 15:00 hours, Sunday 13th May.
The closure will be in place whilst a new bridge is lifted over the M1 between J23a and J24.
The alternative diversion will be signed along the A453 from the M1 and A42 (J23a) to the M1 (J24).

Fraudsters claiming to be from Action Fraud are contacting victims using automated phone calls in order to gain remote access to their computers and drain bank accounts.

The next spring clean of Croft village will be on Saturday 7th April. Organised by Croft Good Neighbours, works starts at 10.00 am at the corner of The Bridle and Broughton Road.
Litter pickers, waste bags and gloves will be provided, all ages are welcome.

A party of Parish Councillors spent the morning of Saturday 17 February spring cleaning by picking up litter in The Bridle and tidying up the Fun Park and part of the Winston Avenue Sports Ground.

We are close to an agreement with Enderby Cricket Club for one of their teams to play at Croft in 2018 which we hope will lead, in time, to a renewal of interest in the sport in Croft. Another team, Braunstone East CC, will play on alternate Saturdays. Watch his space for further details.
