Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A temporary reduction in speed from 60MPH to 30MPH is required at the above locations on the 2nd September 2019 for 2 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Newline Civils to facilitate junction improvement works.

Thousands in funding available for Community Groups

Thousands in funding available for Community Groups

Community groups and sports clubs across the District of Blaby are being encouraged to apply to the Council's Community Grants scheme to help with their projects.

£90,000 is available during 2019/20. Even more funding has been made available thanks to the money raised through the Love Blaby Lottery and a £2,000 contribution from Everyone Active.

Return of Result of Uncontested Election

Following the close of the period for registration of candidates for election at 4pm on 3rd April 2019, a total of seven applications had been received for the eight possible seats, and the persons whose names appear in the accompanying list stood validly nominated and were duly elected without a contest.

The newly elected Members will be in post for up to four years from 7th May 2019.
